TAMPA - TAMPA - Families using Hillsbrough County School District's meal prepay program, MealpayPlus, will need to re-register on or after Tuesday, January 1, because of an upgrade in features and enhanced security to the system.
Parents will receive more information about their child's account, be given more flexibility about designating the use of money in the account, and be able to view pending and confirmed payments. Another new feature is the toll-free parent support center at 877-237-0946, where parents can call with questions, or can have issues resolved.
In addition, a new fee structure for payments will begin on January 1. Fees will come from a percentage of the transaction as opposed to the current sliding scale flat fee per transaction.
As always, parents can make payments to meal accounts at their convenience, set up email reminders when the account balance is low, create settings for automatic replenishment, and review their child's daily meal selections.
