After Burger King employees alerted them to an impaired driver, Hillsborough County deputies stopped a Land O' Lakes mother Wednesday night in a North Tampa parking lot and found three kinds of prescription drugs in the vehicle, along with her 8-month-old son and 4-year-old daughter, officials said.
Patricia Louis Price's 1998 Suburban was stopped at 10:43 p.m. at 8406 Dale Mabry Highway at North Waters Avenue.
Price, 23, had glassy eyes, dilated pupils and a "dopey appearance," Deputy Felix Moret wrote in an arrest report. Deputies found several bottles in the Suburban containing 186 oxycodone pills, nine Dolophine and seven Xanax.
Price failed field sobriety tests and submitted a urine sample for which the results are pending, Moret said. She was arrested at 11:40 p.m. A breath test performed 90 minutes after her arrest showed no alcohol in her system.
The report does not indicate with whom her children were placed after the arrest.
Price was charged with three felony counts of possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor of driving under the influence. She was taken to Orient Road Jail. Her bail was set at $17,500.
