GRAND HAMPTON - Tampa Bay home builders are hoping to lure real estate agents and potential homebuyers with an elegant lunch Sunday as Grand Hampton showcases more than a dozen models and available inventory homes.

The tour starts at noon. Light lunch fare will be served at the model homes. The menu includes fresh fruit and cheese, shrimp remoulade, ham and asparagus roll-ups, and mesquite turkey on croissant, finished off with a cheesecake and brownie assortment.

Featured builders include Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Bayfair Homes, David Weekley Homes, ICI Homes, Mercedes Homes, Southern Crafted Homes, Standard Pacific Homes and Taylor Woodrow Homes.

'Our models are open, but we're also going to have three inventory homes on the tour,' said Lizz Owen, sales agent for Standard Pacific Homes.

Two neotraditional models, with front patios and rear-entry garages, are priced at $233,900 and $289,900. A third house situated on a conservation lot is priced at $339,900.

Standard Pacific is the only builder to offer neotraditional designs in Lake Hampton Manor, a community on the banks of the neighborhood's 11-acre lake. The neighborhood will be home to the future Lakeside Park.

LandMar Group, developer of the 1,100-home community, will break ground this month on the park, which will feature a fishing pier, beach volleyball, basketball courts and picnic shelters with barbecues.

Construction also will start on the new Outpost Park, which has a canoe launch on Cypress Creek and features a screened picnic shelter, an outdoor fireplace area, a children's treehouse playground and multiple barbecue grills.

Arthur Rutenberg Homes' Bonaire model is on the tour, and the builder will invite guests to tour a nearly finished four-bedroom, four-bath Calais model. The house is priced at $839,900.
