TEMPLE CREST - As his fourth anniversary as president of the Temple Crest Civic Association approaches, Terry Neal is evaluating what his next move might be.
Neal said he enjoys representing the neighborhood, but he knows all good things must eventually come to an end. That's why he is trying to find out if anyone else would like to assume the role as the association president.
"I have been president, as of January, for four years," Neal said in a recent e-mail to neighborhood residents. "I think the time has come for someone else to assume the post, to inject fresh ideas and leadership into the association."
Would Neal like to continue serving as president? Yes, he is ready for another term.
"But I don't want to monopolize it," Neal said recently. "There is always room for fresh ideas.
"If someone else is running it, I won't go away."
The group will hold election for new officers Jan. 12.
