Scouts Do Their Best

Boy Scout Brian Guidry, 14, a member of New Tampa-based Troop 148, supervised a group of Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and adults in refurbishing a stable and tack room Feb. 2 for the Traverse program in Thonotosassa. Traverse is therapeutic horsemanship program for at-risk children. Guidry undertook the effort as his Eagle Scout service project. The project included removing and disposing of old walls and replacing and painting new walls and adjacent existing posts.
