NEW TAMPA - Home builders in Grand Hampton and K-Bar Ranch racked up awards in this year's Parade of Homes, which took place the first two weeks of March.
A panel of independent building-industry experts evaluated the entries on site plan, curb appeal, design, materials, outdoor living spaces, architectural detailing and workmanship. Grand and merit awards were given to homes in specific price ranges for single-family and multifamily designs.

The Jacinto at Bellevue in Grand Hampton won the grand award for homes priced between $350,000 and $399,000, and Tampa-based Mobley Homes took the merit award in the same category for its Nantucket V model at Bassett Creek in K-Bar Ranch. Mercedes Homes' other grand award, in the $400,000 to $449,000 price range, was for its Monterey model at Bassett Creek.
