Meet the Juniorettes

TEMPLE TERRACE - The GFWC Temple Terrace Juniorettes are planning an ice cream social to meet girls interested in joining their ranks.
The Juniorettes, a civic-minded group of girls, have invited prospective members to join them for an evening of ice cream and socializing Sept. 14 at the Woodmont Clubhouse, 415 Woodmont Ave. in Temple Terrace. The event will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
The organization targets girls in 7th to 12th grades who are interested in learning how to earn volunteer service hours and work on leadership development skills.
The Temple Terrace Juniorettes have been the recipients of many state and national awards.
