TEMPLE TERRACE - The Temple Terrace Juniorettes' annual community Easter Egg Hunt is April 4 at Riverhills Park. The event includes prizes, face painting, crafts, snacks and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Activities begin at 10 a.m., and the egg hunt is at 10:30.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and should bring their Easter baskets. Admission is $3, which benefits the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.
The Temple Terrace Juniorettes is a service organization for girls ages 14 to 18. The organization has won several awards at the state level and are dedicated to making the community a better place. For information, call Joyce Johnston at (813) 985-3533.
Businesswomen Gather For Tea
NEW TAMPA - Members of Women Mean Business and guests will gather at 6 p.m. April 2 for a high tea with networking at Maggie's Tea Room, 10335 Cross Creek Blvd.
The group supports, encourages and celebrates businesswomen in the Temple Terrace area.
The event is $15 for members of the Greater Temple Terrace Chamber of Commerce and $20 for guests. For reservations, call (813) 989-7004. Deadline is 4 p.m. Monday.
Volunteers Needed For 'Orange Drop'
The Society of St. Andrew, Thrivent for Lutherans, and local churches plan a Join Hands Day: Orange Drop for Hunger.
Volunteers are needed from 8:30 and 10 a.m. Saturday to help bag oranges that will be distributed to shelters and food banks throughout the West Central Florida area.

Fashion Events Are On The Radar
SOUTH TAMPA - The fashion show season is in full swing, with several groups planning events to showcase the spring collections and raise money for charities.
Some events are:
• Karamu Fashion Show, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 2 at Saks Fifth Avenue, WestShore Plaza.
The free event will feature gowns and designer dresses appropriate for Karamu, a Lowry Park Zoo fundraiser.
It also will have men's wear and show how a shirt can be created using animal prints.
The fashion show, open to the public, is free. Information about Karamu, set for April 18, will be available at the event.
• Fashionollia '61, sponsored by the Tampa Woman's Club, on April 4 at the Doubletree Hotel, 4500 W. Cypress St.
A social hour begins at 10 a.m., when a boutique opens with vendors showing products and handmade items. The luncheon and fashion show is at noon.
Tickets are $50, and patron tickets are $100. Proceeds will benefit the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities, Project Return, Kids Charities of Tampa Bay Inc. and Camp Boggy Creek. For tickets, call (813) 839-7457.
• Lights, Fashion and Hope, sponsored by The Lamplighters, from 6 to 9 p.m. April 21 at Saks Fifth Avenue, WestShore Plaza.
This new event showcases spring fashions with informal modeling, food, cocktails, entertainment and a cigar bar.
Jeanne Dowdle and Helen Raterman are the chairwomen of the event, which will assist children at Metropolitan Ministries and Joshua House.

• The Salvation Army Women's Auxiliary's 16th annual fashion show luncheon and silent auction on April 23 at the Doubletree Hotel.
The event begins at 11 a.m. with a silent auction with items from Busch Gardens, sports teams, Bay-area restaurants and retailers. The luncheon and fashion show, with clothes from Coldwater Creek at International Plaza, will be at noon.
Tickets are $50; patron tickets are $100; and table sponsorships begin at $500. Auxiliary president is Linda Mattos; B.J. Wegman is the event chairwoman; and Mary Leflar is the auction chairwoman.

Photo Contest Showcases Trees
The Temple Terrace Garden Club will sponsor a photo contest this fall in conjunction with the city being named a Tree City, U.S.A., that showcases the trees of Temple Terrace.
The club encourages photographers to start early taking pictures of trees in the city, including the flowering ones that are starting to bloom.
To be eligible to submit photos, you must either be a member of the Temple Terrace Garden Club or a resident of the city of Temple Terrace. The photos must be taken within the boundaries of the city of Temple Terrace. Entries must be both a digital file and a matted print suitable for display, no larger than 8 by 10 inches.
Photos will be judged on the artistic statement of the photo and on the photo's support of the project goal of showcasing the variety and beauty of trees in Temple Terrace. Ribbons will be awarded, and selected photographs will be on public display. For contest rules, visit www.ttgc.info.
