TAMPA PALMS - Robin Morton took a Florida State University angel home.
"They're just so cute - and they are happy," said the shopper at Arts & Crafts Under the Palms.
Her $10 angel was made by Wini McKee, who has been making them for about a year.
The Oct. 17-18 event at Tampa Palms' City Plaza was McKee's first time in the annual show, sponsored by the Tampa Palms Women's Club.
"It's been very good. I've enjoyed myself," said McKee, who was one of about 65 exhibitors.
The two-day show drew hundreds of visitors, although the first day started out dreary. The second was bright sun, cool temperatures and a strong breeze.
Shoppers sipped hot tea, chocolate and coffee in the midday chill. Some walked their dogs and others had their children's faces painted.
The show featured beads, silver jewelry, holiday decorations, country crafts, furniture, artwork and other items, including a number with Florida Gators and Florida State Seminole colors and mascots.
Stella Hartman, the show's co-chairwoman, said the event raised $6,000, which the club will present to charities at its December meeting.
