Greatest showmen on Earth

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey bring Barnum's FUNundrum to the St. Pete Times Forum, 401 Channelside Drive, through Sunday.

The celebration of P.T. Barnum features performers from around the world, including a motorcycle troupe, contortionists, high-wire artists and, of course, the exotic animals.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. today, Thursday and Friday, 11:30 a.m., 3:30 and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, and 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15, $20, 25, $35, $55 (VIP) and $85 (Circus Celebrity), and are available at the box office or at www.sptimesforum.com.

See 'What the Butler Saw'

Jobsite Theater presents the swingin' '60s British sex farce "What the Butler Saw" through Jan. 24 in the Shimberg Playhouse at the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts, 1010 N. MacInnes Place (formerly the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center).

This play is intended for mature audiences.

Show times are 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 for tonight's preview, and start at $24.50 for regular performances. Call (813) 229-7827 or go to www.tbpac.org.

Senator wore pantyhose

Carrollwood Players presents "The Senator Wore Pantyhose," by Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, at 8 p.m. at the playhouse, 4335 Gunn Highway.

'Godspell' on the Riverwalk

The David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Performing Arts presents a free screening of the 1973 musical "Godspell" at 8 p.m. on the Riverwalk, 1010 N. MacInnes Place.

The movie by Stephen Schwarz is the passion play of the Gospel according to St. Matthew, updated to a New York setting. The film version is intended to enhance enjoyment of the stage performances of "Godspell" coming to Jaeb Theater Feb. 9 through May 6.

Concessions will be available; stadium chairs and blankets are welcome; no coolers. For details, go to www.tbpac.org.

'Jack and the Beanstalk'

Enjoy the story of the boy who trades his cow for magical beans.

The Carrollwood Cultural Center and the Play'n Around Traveling Children's Theater are hosting the classic tale of "Jack and the Beanstalk" at 3 p.m. at 4537 Lowell Road.

Children 4 and younger will be admitted for free. Cost for cultural center members is $7, with nonmember tickets costing $10. Call (813) 269-1310.
