The Mulberry boys soccer team scored two early goals on their way to a 3-0 ejection-shortened victory over the Lake Placid boys soccer team in the semifinals of the Class 3A-District 8 tournament. The match was called with 30 minutes remaining after Lake Placid coach Josh Virkler was thrown out of the game for arguing with the referee.
